It is with tremendous excitement and pride that the Capitus Real Estate Learning Center announces our new Director of Education - Christy Slaton.
  
Christy brings an extraordinary amount of experience to this new role, including working with Capitus for nearly three years, after serving as both the DIrector of Education and the Chief Executive Officer of the Metro South Association of REALTORS for over 17 years.

As a leader who cultivates a close sense of community and embraces the mission and purpose of the Capitus Real Estate Learning Center, Christy is ready to provide exceptional guidance towards innovative programming and creative opportunities for both students and educators.

The Capitus Board of Governors is highly enthusiastic about the stewardship that Christy offers to the school and the educational community.  Chris Burrell, 2022 President of the Board of Governor’s  states, “Christy will have a profound impact on advancing standards of excellence for our school.  She has a true passion for student achievement and development, and an unparalleled appreciation for the educators.”

Christy is a tremendous teambuilder and communicator.  With her at the helm, the new chapter for the Capitus Real Estate Learning Center will help drive learning and success for our students, our teachers, and our Associations.
